These conditions must be adhered to by all users & advertisers on The Wedding Works Directory. In using this site you are automatically subject to, and agree to, these conditions, where they apply to you or your organisation.

Listing of a business on The Wedding Works Directory does not constitute an endorsement. We have not tested the services of businesses listed, and so we cannot, and do not, vouch for their services.

The Wedding Works Directory accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any third-party content (including articles found within our Tips pages and Press Releases).

The Wedding Works Directory is a copy written brand of ‘Wedding Works’, part of the UK registered partnership ‘The Hysteria Media Group’. ‘The Hysteria Media Group’ is not responsible for any loss of revenue or custom should the site not be accessible for any duration.

We cannot guarantee that you will always be able to access the website. We will not be considered liable for interruptions or delays to access, whatever the cause.

Free listings may be removed at any time, without warning.

We do not guarantee that advertisers will receive increased custom, or traffic to their site.

After the pre-paid 12 months of listing, listings not renewed may be removed.

Advertisers are responsible for the content of their adverts. This includes, but is not limited to owning the copyright, or having permission, for any photography or artwork displayed.

Any advertiser’s content deemed, by us, to be indecent or inappropriate may be removed at any time. 

We reserve the right to edit or amend advert content to meet our standard listing guidelines, this includes but is not limited to listing description, and image size.

We adhere to the Data Protection Act 1998 and as such handle client data in a responsible and exclusively purposeful way.

You agree to be contacted by email with regards to all account matters, and that for the purposes of account maintenance you cannot be removed from our Mailing List.

Subscribers to our mailing list, give us permission to promote the products & services of third party advertisers, via our own channels, where those products or services are deemed relevant or appropriate. In the event you request to be removed from our mailing list and this action for whatever reason does not occur as expected, you agree that our marketing email has been sent without the intention to inconvenience or cause any loss or other detrimental or claimable difficulties upon you, and indemnify us fully in this respect.

All visitors to this site, give permission to us to contact them, where we currently hold on record or they supply to us their email address, for the purposes of marketing our products & services to them directly by email. Due to the vast administrative implications & constraints of the Data Protection Act 1998, you accept that we are unable to supply you with a detailed explanation of how we obtained or indexed your contact information.

Listing updates:

• You may request a change of any image that makes up your listing on no more than 4 occasions throughout a 12 month advertisement period.

• Any text changes will be made on a discretionary basis only, and are therefore not guaranteed.

• You must advise us should your contact details change, this includes: Address, Coverage, Telephone Numbers, Email address, Website address.

• Should your website cease to be accessible for a significant period, your listing may be removed.

Paid Advertising

• All paid advertising is non-refundable.

• Payment for adverts placed, will be due within 7 days of the advert being listed. 

• Failure to make payment within our time limits will result in an immediate suspension of services (including monthly performance reports)

• Failure to make payment within 14 days from receipt by email of an 'Overdue Payment - Formal Stage 1 of 2' will result in your listing being removed.

• You accept liability for the costs incurred in using an External Debt-Recoveries agent to recover debt against your account.

• Should you cease to provide the services advertised with us, we are released from any obligation to supply you with advertising and monthly performance reports, and your listing will be removed.

All Regions Advertising

• Advertisers subscribed to paid 'All Regions' advertising prior to 6th November 2006, will appear in regions throughout England & Wales only, and will be considered to be subscribed to 'All of England & Wales' advertising, thereafter.

• The term 'All Regions' after the 6th November 2006, will be understood to include England, Wales & Scotland.

• In June 2007 the site was developed to be structured by Counties rather than Regions, this result in a price structuring change whereby the purchasing of a listing throughout the UK or in 'All Regions' must be done by purchasing the appropriate number of UK Counties, as prices are per County with discounts applied automatically for multiple Counties.

Site Structure Change

In June 2007, The Wedding Works Directory was re-designed & re-structured by Counties within each of the pre-existing Regions, and as a result pricing for advertising is adjusted accordingly, with fees per County rather than per Region. The result of this is an increase in the value of pre-existing listings, which are now likely advertised across multiple Counties within their pre-advertised Region. To reflect the cost of investment in the site development, existing advertisers do not receive monthly performance reports (where this service may have provisionally been offered or agreed, and in any instances, this would have been as additional service supplied free of charge by Wedding Works Directory, which was always subject to withdrawal at anytime), furthermore this service will not be offered to new advertisers.

We reserve the right to vary policy & scope of these conditions without notice at any time. All changes will be reflected on this web page.
